Menopause Specialist Clinics is a CQC-registered and ICO-regulated virtual menopause clinic based in the United Kingdom.
By accessing or using our website and services, you confirm your agreement to comply with these Terms. Please review them carefully before proceeding with any consultation or engaging with our website.
2. Services
Menopause Specialist Clinics offers the following services:

All services are delivered by qualified and accredited healthcare professionals in compliance with CQC and UK medical standards.

3. Appointments and Cancellations
3.1 Appointments must be booked online (www.menocare.org), via email, or by phone.
3.2 A minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may incur a fee of 50% of the appointment cost..
3.3 Emergency consultations or requests may be subject to availability.

4. Fees and Payment
4.1 Payments must be made at the time of booking or service.
4.2 We accept credit or debit cards, PayPal, Stripe, and Link payments.

5. Data Protection and Privacy
5.1 All personal data is handled in compliance with GDPR, the UK Data Protection Act, and ICO regulations.
5.2 We use encrypted platforms for consultations and secure storage for all medical records.

8. Prescriptions and Medications
8.1 Prescriptions are issued only when clinically appropriate, following consultations.
8.2 Patients are required to provide accurate medical histories and current medication information.
8.3 Repeat prescriptions can be requested via the patient portal and are reviewed every 6–12 months.
9. Patient Responsibilities
Patients must:

9.2 Follow the treatment plans and advice provided.
9.3 Inform the clinic of any significant changes in health.
9.4 Treat clinic staff with respect and courtesy.

10. Liability
10.1 The Clinic maintains professional indemnity insurance as required by UK law.
10.2 While we strive to provide high-quality care, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
10.3 Liability is limited to the extent permitted by law and does not cover acts of negligence or misuse of advice.

11. Complaints Procedure
11.1 Complaints must be submitted in writing via email to secretary@menocare.org or by phone at 01482 298942.
11.2 Complaints will be acknowledged within 72 working hours and resolved in line with our duty of candour.
11.3 Lessons from complaints are used to improve our services and ensure patient satisfaction.

12. Termination of Services
The Clinic reserves the right to terminate services if:
12.1 A breach of these Terms occurs.
12.2 Payment is not received.
12.3 Behaviour towards staff is abusive or inappropriate.
12.4 Treatment is deemed no longer clinically appropriate
Patients may be referred to external services if necessary and are welcome to return for future virtual consultations.

The Clinic reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated to patients and updated on our website.

14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of English courts.
